About Us

We are a new guesthouse, operating from a recently erected building in the heart of Chiang Mai's old city. Our team of dedicated staff help to keep our guests happy with our clean attractively-appointed rooms, wide range of facilities, and useful travel information.

Nok is our young dynamic female staffer who is always on hand to provide assistance to backpackers keen to fit lots of fun activities into a small amount of time. Tee and his wife, the husband and wife management team at TK Guesthouse, ensure the Guesthouse stays true to their original goal of providing comfort & relaxation at an affordable price. Tee benefits from having lived in New Zealand for a decade and so he understands travelers' needs intimately. Tee is fluent in English and Nok is learning fast, so communicating with our staff is easy.

TK Guesthouse is located within Chiang Mai's old city, in the south-east corner, which is ideal, placing the accommodation between popular Tha Pai Gate and in the other direction, towards Chiang Mai Gate and the international airport. The Tha Pai Gate is a few minutes on foot and offers the popular Sunday Night Market where local arts & crafts and local culture combine, along with familiar brands like Starbucks and McDonalds. The Chiang Mai Gate area has an early morning produce market and convenience stores. Every Saturday night, there is also a less well known night market which runs for over a kilometer along the street nearby.

We also offer a variety of tours and trekking outside Chiang Mai city. We select the best treks, action-packed days out, which showcases the breathtaking scenery, hot springs, jungles, animal and wildlife.
